Bugema University holds a medical center with services of qualified medical personel located on campus. Health and emergency care are available to students as well as members of the community. The facility includes services for both inpatients and outpatients, laboratory services, maternal – child
health services, dental services, optical services, HIV counseling and testing and a range of community health services.
The University also runs an HIV/AIDS project which intends to educate and sensitize the comunities arround about AIDS pandemic and also reduce on the stigma amongest AIDS victims.
Construction of the New Dispensary.
Due to the increase in the need for a larger facilty that can cater for the entire students body efficiently together with the communities, the university started the construction of a better dispensary facilty which can serve the interests of its beneficiaries.
Below is the new dispensary under construction.
