We look forward to a time when poverty will be no more; and the life of an individual, especially those that are marginalised to day, fulfilled in all things.
Mission
The faculty, staff and students in the department of development studies are individuals who have a mission for the poor; the abused and disadvantaged. We endevor to learn from the individuals who are the victims of the circumstances themselves. We know that they are better placed to know how their problems may be solved; only that they lack the opportunity to bring about change that will make life more worth living. Learning from them we intend to bring to them the one thingthat they lack; love and understanding. When we have provided this we shall be able to see the vision for the future. We are committed to the equality of all people of all the world regardless of gender, color, nationality and creed.
