On passing it, the candidate qualifies for admission in all departments of the university. The candidate fills in the formal application forms obtained from the registrar’s office and other satellite centers and returns them to the same office with all his or her relevant documents attached (O – Level certificate of education or its equivalent). In addition, the applicant must (I) be at least 25 years of age (ii) have been in employment for more than five years (A letter of recommendation from the employer should be attached), (iii) pass mature entrance examination with  at least 50%.
The Admissions Committee will evaluate the applicant, and if successful, he/she will be invited to sit for the mature entrance examination administered by Bugema University. A letter of admission will then be issued to only those who pass the examination.

MODE OF INSTRUCTION
Students have different learning styles and need to experience other learning environments. Tutorial sessions are semi-structured, in which students are invited to engage in the material of the course through other means. Practicals often involve hands-on experiences in science or computer laboratories or some other practical setting

Each degree program requires independent research under the supervision of an individual faculty member as a capstone to the degree.
